Gooey Mozzarella-Garlic Bread
This ooey, gooey bread earns applause, hands-down.

Ingredients

1 loaf Italian or French bread, halved crosswise
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup shredded mozzarella (regular or part-skim)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brush olive oil all over bottom half of bread. Sprinkle garlic over oil. Top with cheese and close bread, as if making a sandwich.
  3. Wrap bread in foil. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese melts.
  4. Serve it up on your favorite Dixie product for a delicious Mom moment that's clean up-easy.
